Russia celebrates Youth Day June 27.
The holiday has a rich history and tradition. It was established in the Soviet Union in 1958, one year after the 6th World Festival of Youth and Students.
Over the decades, the meaning of the holiday has evolved, adapting to new formats and highlighting the areas that matter most to younger generations – from youth organizations and civic initiatives to a symbol of opportunity, creativity, and education without borders.
